Daymark have been supplying printed labels to the food and produce sector for over 40 years. When approached by a new customer seeking printed labels for use on pumpkins to include product information and a 13 digit EAN barcode we were able to provide a tried and tested solution. The uneven pumpkin surface meant most materials would lack adhesion and simply fall off the pumpkin. Our vast catalogue of materials, however, allowed is to offer an ultra-permanent paper material which would provide the necessary adhesion to the pumpkin surface, ensuring the label remained in position during transport and in store but could also be easily removed once purchased without damaging the surface of the pumpkin.
