With the introduction of new legislation requiring all retailers across Scotland and Northern Island to charge a minimum of 5p for each new single-use carrier bag we were approached by a national retailer who had found that the new laws had created an unexpected problem; customers were purchasing goods and opting against the 5p bag charge yet continuing to browse after making a purchase. As such staff were unable to identify whether goods had been paid for or not.
A highly visible sold security label with a peelable adhesive which could be stuck to purchased goods yet easily removed without damage. Due to the unforeseen predicament the labels were needed urgently, and we were able to print and dispatch over 500,000 labels to 34 addresses across the UK within 24 hours!
